Practices

For Spring Quarter 2024, our practice schedule for each weapon is as follows:
Tuesday 5-7PM: Epee & Saber
Wednesday 5-7PM: Foil
Thursday 5-7PM: Foil, Epee, & Saber
Practices consist of team conditioning and footwork, after which we split up into weapon squads to drill and bout.

We are located on the balcony above the track at Henry Crown Field House (5550 S University Ave). Enter through the S University Ave side entrance and head upstairs.

Weapons

We have men’s and women’s teams in all three weapons: foil, saber, and epee.
New fencers can try out all three and decide which one they want to fence!

What to Bring

Fencing equipment if you have it; if not, we will provide weapons, masks, and other protective gear.
Wear sneakers and long athletic pants. Don't forget to bring water!
